Pea Dip with Raw Vegetables – IC Friendly Veggie Dip

Here’s a simple but tasty veggie dip. Great idea to bring as a dish to pass –  perfect for a family gathering, tailgate party or barbeque — when you’re not sure what will be available to snack on.


  • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen peas, defrosted
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Assorted raw vegetables


  1. In a food processor or blender, combine peas, garlic, parmesan salt and pepper.  Process for 30 seconds. 
  2. Add oil and blend until smooth.
  3. Cover and refrigerate.  Serve with raw veggies.
